Netas Foundation

Netas Foundation, our mission is to serve our community, especially in the wake of COVID-19. We opened S and E Food Market on Jefferson Street in North Nashville to provide essential groceries. Shortly after opening, we realized that many of our customers struggled to afford fresh fruits and vegetables. In response, we began giving away these items and witnessed the joy it brought to our customers, who enjoyed trying the tropical fruits we offered.

As we serve our customers, we notice many walk from nearby neighborhoods, including the elderly residents of local towers and apartment homes. They express happiness that they don’t need to drive to access our services. To better assist them, we plan to either invite them to walk to us or walk to them, making it more convenient. Many of these individuals lack transportation, making it difficult for them to access food. For those who can use buy form other neighborhood they can simply use the we go bus to come pick there food on Jefferson Street.
